Product & Investment Research
We undertake product and investment research using independent research tools. This can be completed on your behalf or we can use your own research tools.
Many of our advisers undertake product and investment research as a standalone project, prior to instructing a suitability report.
Platform/Wrap Due Diligence
We offer a comprehensive platform/wrap due diligence service which has been designed to provide you with the confidence that your analysis has been undertaken thoroughly and documented appropriately.
Our service includes a review of your platform requirements, an overall market review, a full assessment for a range of tax wrappers, cost analysis and a comprehensive due diligence summary document.
Where required by your centralised investment process, the due diligence service will evidence the recommendation for multiple platforms/wrap providers.
Fund Research
We complete fund research and analysis using FE Fund Info, which is integrated into our suitability reports.
Where possible we will compare the asset allocation, performance, volatility and charges of existing and recommended investment strategies.
Multi-Asset Fund Research (including ESG)
We also complete multi-asset fund research to assist firms with analysis for their centralised investment propositions.
This service also includes an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) solution.
Pension Comparison Research
We complete pension comparison research for defined contribution and money purchase pension switching, as well as drawdown. Using Selectapension, we will compare existing and recommended pension scenarios for your client, which is integrated into our suitability reports.

Appropriate Pension Transfer Analysis (APTA)
We complete APTA research for defined benefit transfers, where we have a great deal of experience. Using Selectapension, we will compare existing and recommended pension scenarios for your client which is integrated into our reports.
In addition to the APTA report, we also undertake additional cashflow analysis for defined benefit clients as standard. We will provide both APTA and additional cashflow reports to both life expectancy age and a period beyond.
